Reset MFA for a Staff Member

If a staff member gets a new phone or loses access to their authenticator app, you can reset their MFA so they can set it up again. Any compliance admin can reset MFA for any staff member.


Steps

Go to the staff member’s profile

Navigate to Staff and select the staff member who needs their MFA reset.

Select Reset MFA

On their profile page, select Reset MFA. You’ll be asked to confirm.

Staff member sets up MFA again

The next time they log in, they’ll be prompted to set up MFA from scratch with a new QR code. See Set Up MFA on Your Account for the setup guide.

The Reset MFA button only appears for staff members who currently have MFA enabled.

All MFA resets are logged for security purposes, including who performed the reset and when.
