Run a Gap Analysis
Gap analysis uses AI to check whether your linked documents actually address each clause’s requirements. It identifies clauses where you may have missing or incomplete coverage.
When to Use This
- After linking your policies to clauses
- To find gaps before you start reviewing clauses
- When you want AI-generated recommendations for addressing gaps
Running a Gap Analysis
Go to your standard set
Go to Standards and select your standard set.
Click Analyse Policy Gaps
This starts the analysis across all clauses. The analysis runs in the background — the page refreshes automatically until it’s complete.
Review the results
When complete, you’ll see a heatmap showing coverage across all clauses:
- Red — No documents linked to this clause
- Orange — Documents linked but may not fully cover the requirement
Click any clause square to view its details and linked documents.
Analysing a Single Clause
You can also run gap analysis on one clause at a time:
- Open the clause details page
- Click Actions → Run Gap Analysis
- View the AI analysis and recommendations inline
This is useful when you’ve just linked new documents and want to check coverage for that specific clause.
What Happens Next
- The analysis results are saved — you can return to view them later
- Click Generate Recommendation on any gap to get AI suggestions for addressing it
- You can export the gap analysis as a PDF
Gap analysis works best when you’ve linked all relevant policies to each clause first. Clauses with no linked documents will always show as gaps.
